This is therapy that . . .
prioritizes your body, not just your thoughts.
moves at the pace of your nervous system.
makes room for creativity, experimentation, and laughter.
doesn’t treat you like a problem to solve.

We meet in a light-filled cottage surrounded by a small urban garden—a space designed to help you slow down before we even begin.
Rough Draft Studios is a place where "perfect" is not the goal.
Many of us spend years trying to present a polished version of ourselves. We mask, perform, explain, and edit, trying to look like we “have it together” even when the internal draft is full of crossed-out lines and coffee stains.

Rough Draft Studios is built on a different idea: healing is not about becoming a finished product. It is about making room for experimentation, revision, surprise, and aliveness.

"Rough Draft" doesn't mean incomplete. It means a safe space to experiment.

Being human is a process that is never finished. If we wait until we’re "fixed" to start living, we miss the whole show. A rough draft isn’t a failure to finish. It is where something real begins.
Why "Studios"?
A studio is a space set aside for creative work. Here, therapy is that creative work. We have spaces for deep one-on-one sessions, small group gatherings, and—when I’m not working with humans—my own messes with paper, clay, and wood.
